| Plan Your Visit --> Plan Your Visit --> Dear friends, I write these words with bittersweet emotions. The Board of Directors of D Acres has voted to dissolve the organization effective May 31st, 2023. The organization has been unable to regain our momentum post-covid, and the time I need to spend with my parents at this juncture is inhibiting my capacity to push D Acres forward. I feel the grief of this loss, but I am hopeful for the future. Our current plan is to distribute D Acres financial assets to the local non-profits Local Foods Plymouth and the Canaan Parent Teacher Association. It has been a great honor and privilege to serve as the director here since 1997. We have accomplished much as an organization and community. We have created a bountiful garden and enriched the soil through careful stewardship, with innovative and thoughtful farming techniques.
